Empower Summer Camp 2026: An Inclusive Summer Camp in Calgary Where Every Child Belongs
Finding the right summer camp can feel overwhelming — especially when you’re looking for a program that is not only fun, but also supportive, structured, and genuinely inclusive.
At Empower Summer Camp 2026, we believe every child deserves a summer where they feel safe, included, encouraged, and celebrated for who they are.
Located in Sundance SE, Calgary, Empower Summer Camp is designed for children in Grades 1–3 (ages 6–9 by December 2026) and welcomes both neurodivergent and neurotypical children into an engaging, supportive environment focused on connection, creativity, confidence-building, and social development.
A Summer Camp Built on Inclusion, Support, and Growth
· Empower Summer Camp was created with one goal in mind: building a camp experience where children of all abilities can learn, play, and grow together.
· We know that every child learns, communicates, socializes, and experiences the world differently. Some children may need extra support with transitions, communication, emotional regulation, attention, or social interaction. Others simply thrive best in smaller, more structured environments.
· That’s why our camp focuses on structured daily programming, small-group support, social and communication skill development, guided peer interaction, confidence-building activities, and inclusive play and teamwork.
· This is not a drop-in or respite-style program. Empower Summer Camp is a thoughtfully designed summer experience that combines fun, learning, movement, creativity, and relationship-building in a nurturing environment.
What Campers Will Experience
· STEM activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, curiosity, and exploration through play.
· Arts and crafts that help children express themselves, build confidence, strengthen fine motor skills, and collaborate with peers.
· Social skills development through communication practice, friendship-building, turn-taking, cooperation, group participation, and emotional awareness.
· Sports and active play that support coordination, confidence, healthy peer interaction, and movement.
